Libreng tuition sa mga SUCs, 
mapahimoslan na sunod tuig 

MANILA, December 19 (PIA)--Giseguro ni Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairperson Patricia Licuanan nga libre na sa sunod tuig ang mga estudyante sa mga State Universities and Colleges.

Kini human gipalig-on ang tuition budget alang sa mga SUC’s nga mokabat sa P8.3 bilyon nga parte sa 2017 National Budget nga P3.35 Trilyon.

Alang sa 2017, mokabat sa P10 bilyon ang budget sa CHED.

Matud pa ni Sen. Loren Legarda, Chairperson sa Senate Finance Committee nga aprubado na usab ang pondo alang sa Students Financial Assistance Program (StuFAPs).

Makapahimos sa maong pondo ang mga dili mahatagan og libreng matrikula sa mga estudyante sa mga SUCs.

Sa kasamtangan, mokabat na sa 113 ang gidaghanon sa mga State Universities and Colleges matud pa sa record sa CHED. (PIA-Bohol/ecb)
