Bohol Dairy processing and Marketing Enterprise is the famed processor of carabao milk which they sell as fresh milk and the chocobao, cheese and other dairy processed products. While tey are now currently marketing their processed products, the next goal is to set up dairy stores and outlets in every tourism destination in Bohol, says Lenife Libres, Philippine Carabao center information Officer.
In Sagbayan, Bohol PRDP also helps set up a crucial farm to market access road to make sure products get to the markets easily and farmer entrepreneurs eliminate the chances of bruised and ruined products caused by improper handling while transporting it to the markets. A good Farm to market road assures smooth transport of products with the least chances of ruining.
On the other hand, to relieve fishing tension in Talibon town, which sits right at the Danajon Double Barrier Reef, the government implements a PRDP supported project in Seaweeds production in town. (rac/PIA-7/Bohol)
