May 24, 2018: ***DepEd Bohol Division's School Governance and Operations Division Chief, Desiderio Deligero made a reminder that public school students who lack requirements and have outstanding balances in their tuition should still be allowed to enroll during the upcoming school year and the children's parents or guardians are only required to officially assure the schools of their payment. *** At least 10 house owners living near the shoreline in Barangay Doljo, Panglao face demolition of their residences after these were found to be within the town's 20-meter easement zone. Panglao Mayor Perdo Fuertes said the owners of the residential structures were also given notices of violation by the DENR.

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, June 17 (PIA) He was then known as Philippines Mr. Football when he was a member of the Philippine National Football team in the ‘80s, and now, Australia based Elmer Lacknet Bedia will bring his soccer expertise to Bohol on June 21-22.

Bedia, who has shown intent in building the backbone of the Philippine soccer through sustainable grassroots trainings would be accompanied by members of Elmer Lacknet Bedia Football Academy (ELBA) to teach the children of Bohol the fundamentals of the beautiful game, Bohol Football Association (BFA) president Edmar Thaddeus M. Simpao confirmed recently.

Simpao also added that the clinic which adopts ‘Be cool play football and stay in school’ will be held at the Carlos P. Garcia football field in Tagbilaran city. 

Already confirming their joining the clinic are several football clubs and schools from all over the province like Tagbilaran FC, Panglao Friendly Waters FC, Infant King Academy FC, Cortes FC, University of Bohol FC, VDT FC, Albur FC, Lila FC, JT Football Center and DCPNH FC.
Aside from conducting the clinic, Bedia also brings with him football equipment like shoes, socks, and balls to give to the poor football playing kids of Bohol who suffered from a strong earthquake that hit the province last year. 

“The clinic is also timely because school is just starting. It would be very good for the children to see how Elmer Bedia coaches and play football,’’ Simpao added. The clinic is for boys and girls aged below 16. 

Bohol governor Edgardo Chatto and Tagbilaran City Mayor John Geesnel Yap and all the officials of the Bohol FA are giving their full support of this project. 

Other officials of the Bohol FA who have supported this project are VP Emmanuel Gamonez, secretary Louie T. Supremo, treasurer Dario E. Rosalejos, PRO Ma. Claire M. Fudalan, Auditor Patrick Thomas C.
